Liposuction-Body Contouring Erases Stubborn Body Fat

Each year, nearly half a million Americans undergo liposuction to help "sculpt" their bodies. Liposuction is a form of body-contouring surgery that suctions away fat.

This surgical method, introduced in France more than 20 years ago, has since been improved with new techniques that make liposuction safer and more effective than ever before.

Who is a good liposuction candidate?
Some patients who come in for a consultation are surprised to find that an overweight person is not an ideal candidate for liposuction. This procedure should not be considered a treatment for obesity.

The best candidates for liposuction are women and men of any age with good skin elasticity and muscle tone who are:

Non-smokers
Within 30% of their ideal body weight
In good physical health

Cost For Hair Transplant - How Much it Would Cost You to Solve Your Hair Loss Problems

A lot of people suffer from hair loss. It is inevitable for most since this is commonly part of the natural aging process. Because of this, a huge number of people just let their hair fall off naturally. However, this is obviously not okay for a larger population of hair loss sufferers. Also one of the reasons for the low popularity of ways of resolving hair loss is the cost for hair transplant. The usual cost for this type of procedure is around $4,000 to $20,000 and that is considered expensive by most.
The cost for this procedure varies greatly because of a lot of factors. One of these factors is the actual type of procedure for hair transplantation. There are two common types for this. One is Strip Harvesting and the other is the more modern Follicular Unit Extraction. Strip Harvesting started earlier on and involves removal of a small piece of the actual scalp and it's transplantation on the part of the head with thinning hair. This procedure takes a shorter time but a much longer recovery period than the second one.
The second type of procedure, Follicular Unit Extraction or FUE, requires more effort but with this method, there will be no visible scars on the scalp and the recovery period will be a lot shorter. The reason for this is instead of removing a piece of the actual scalp, only the hair follicles are removed and transplanted. The process takes a longer time but once it is done, the patient would not have to suffer from scars on the scalp. Plus, based on the previous results, this is more effective than normal Strip Harvesting. The only drawback with this method is the higher cost for hair transplant.
Because FUE is more modern than Strip Harvesting, it is naturally more expensive. You can find clinics offering considerably lower fees than others but it would take a lot of research. You would have to know how to compare prices in order for you to get the best possible cost for hair transplant for the procedure of your choice.

Liposuction Can Enhance Your Curves

Every person wants to look his or her best. Sometimes no matter how much a person may diet or exercise, he will still have areas of fat and cellulite. Many people will consider trying invasive and non-invasive treatments and surgeries to obtain the best body possible. Both men and women can be ideal candidates for liposuction.
All cosmetic procedures have limitations and liposuction is no different. This procedure is in no way intended to replace diet and exercise and it does not effectively treat cellulite. This is an invasive procedure, so it is important for patients to be certain that this is the correct procedure for them. An initial consultation with a surgeon will help determine whether or not you are an ideal surgical candidate. The ideal candidate for liposuction will have good skin elasticity with the ability to reach the smoothest contours after the excess fat is removed. They should also exercise and eat a healthy diet but still have areas of fat that do not respond to diet and exercise.

Will Liposuction Benefit You?

A cosmetic surgery that has gained in popularity, and around the world is liposuction. This procedure provides a plastic surgeon a means to contour and sculpt your body. He or she targets specific areas of your body that have retained deposits of unwanted fat. Typically, the areas affected are the tummy, hips, thighs, the lower back, buttocks, and neck. As we get older, it becomes increasingly difficult to lose this unwanted fat in these areas through conventional means, such as dieting and exercise. Once the procedure is over, the fat is gone, and you will have an attractive and shapely figure. This procedure is popular with both genders, and hundreds of thousands are performed around the globe each year.
The liposuction procedure
The procedure calls for some form of sedation, depending on the extent of the surgery. Intravenous or general anesthesia may be used. The surgeon makes small incisions in the target areas and uses a thin metal tube known as a cannula to suction out the fat that has accumulated under the skin. He or she contours and sculpts your new figure. The procedure produces remarkable results. Patients report a high satisfaction with the surgery and would recommend it to friends and family. There is a recovery period and your surgeon will provide guidelines to follow to ensure that recovery is complete and successful. There may be some discomfort, bruising and swelling. Pain can be managed with prescription drugs.
